A collaboration with my grandmother, Lim Do Soon, Rice Piss 쌀 오줌 is a collection of 8.5x11 inch prints illustrating Korea as a colony during the Japanese Imperial Era (1910-1945). The text are excerpts taken from Lim’s published essay “쌀 오줌,” a memoir of her experiences as a young girl during this tumultuous period.
